Trout Lilies usually start blooming at the Heard in the middle of February. They can be located on the Hoot Owl Trail. We will meet at the gift shop at 9:00 am to walk down to the Trout Lilies together. The Heard opens at 7:30 am the second Saturday of the month if you want to try to get some images in the early morning light. And don’t forget, entry is free to members of the Heard Nature Photographers on meeting day. When I issue the call for images, I will send it to everyone who signed up for this event. So, if you plan to take some photos at the Heard during February, sign up and share some of your best.
