Adult Divisions

Beginner

Photographers with very limited experience. May shoot on automatic or program. May be new to photography or have just returned to photography after several years. Still learning to use the camera and techniques.

Intermediate 

Familiar with the camera, composition, and techniques, but not fully proficient. Have not regularly won awards in previous contests.

Advanced/Professional

Have been photographing for several years and are proficient in the use of the camera, composition, and techniques. May have won several awards in competitions. May be a professional photographer.
