Honey Grove - Historical Buildings
Honey Grove has a large collection of historic homes in/around the city limits. The 2016 Driving Tour of Honey Grove published by the Honey Grove Preservation League and the Honey Grove Chamber of Commerce provides addresses. Some may no longer be in existence.
Driving Tour
The Honeygrove Preservation League has written a Driving Tour Guide for Honey Grove. Download a copy and bring it with you. We won’t be providing copies during the field trip.
Route:
Choose your own route! Our en-route/return route objective is to find something photo-worthy that others may not see!
Honey Grove is about 1 hr/15 minutes from McKinney.
Parking
When shooting “downtown”, please make every effort to park in the spaces around the post office to not interfere with anyone’s shot!
Questions
No registrations will be taken by phone but if you have any questions about this field trip, contact our Field Trip Coordinator, Steve Earles. His email is; heardphototrip@gmail.com, or phone 713-898-5204.
New Sign-up Process
This is a new process and the only way sign-ups for any field trip will be accepted going forward. Please read the accompanying information on the website sign-up page when signing up for any Heard Nature Photographers field trip.
Why are we doing this?
1. With each signup, the member is digitally completing a Release of Liability.
2. The system will generate a report to the Field Trip Coordinators ensuring that they are aware of all attendees and that a Release of Liability has been digitally signed.
